We wanted to revitalize our social media presence by putting a face to the brand, and this video marks the beginning of that journey. Not only does it shed light on the perks of being apart of our team, but it also boosts morale in the office and draws more followers to our page. We were pleasantly surprised by the enthusiastic response this video received. I even had people approach me in my social life, mentioning they had seen the video and applied for a job. It was rewarding experience crafting the script and showcasing my favorite parts about my job.

Coworker Interviews
After the success of our first TikTok comeback, we were eager to keep the momentum going with more face-to-face content. Recognizing that our products might not be the most visually appealing, we brainstormed innovative ways to showcase our brand. That is when we found the idea of conducting coworker interviews for our social media platforms. With a bluetooth miniature microphone, I went around the office asking colleagues about their experiences at A.Y. McDonald - how long they have been with us and what motivate them to stay. These interviews not only provided insight into our company culture but also humanized our brand, making it more relatable to our audience. It was a win-win situation; our customers got to know our company better, and our employees felt valued and appreciated. This new approach to marketing has proven to be a game-changer for us.

Experts React
Another exciting addition to our social media strategy was the 'Experts React' segment. We sourced TikTok for videos featuring mishaps and fails during plumbing or pump installations, and then we invited our product managers to react to the videos and provide their insights. They analyzed the clips, pointing out both the correct and incorrect approaches, offering valuable expertise along the way. This segment not only highlights the skill sets and experience of our product managers but also fosters trust among our customers and followers. This segment is a testament to our commitment to excellence in the waterworks, plumbing, pumps, and natural gas industries. 
AY in Action Campaign
The 'A.Y. in Action' campaign was a targeted initiative aimed at engaging our customers to showcase our products on social media. This campaign not only grew our social media presence, but it also fostered a strong sense of community around our brand. Customers began posting images and videos featuring out products, and in exchange, we reposted their content and offered our free merchandise. 

We kickstarted the campaign with a public service announcement video inviting customers to join in and share their experiences using our products. Subsequently, we maintained momentum by regularly posting stills on our Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok feeds, encouraging continued participation with our hashtag, #AYinAction. This initiative was able to showcase our products in real-world scenarios while reinforcing our brand's connection with our audience.

Product Manager Favorites
We introduced the 'Product Manager Favorites' series to provide our audience with valuable insights into our product lineup. In these videos, four product managers from each department showcased their top four favorite products from A.Y. They demonstrated the products while explaining their functionality and sharing why they are the favorites. 

This series provide beneficial for our social media platforms as it served both an educational resource and a demonstration of our expertise. Customers appreciated the in-depth knowledge shared by our product managers, leading to numerous comments with questions about the showcased parts and where to find them.
